What does IDSA do for students?
We are so glad you asked! IDSA ultimately exists to serve students, and the majority of its funding goes to provide leadership and growth opportunities for students.
Each spring (usually in March), IDSA puts on a student leadership workshop for current and future student leaders. This day-long event is an opportunity for leaders to better understand the unique role they play in their schools. It is also an opportunity for them to share ideas and experiences with their peers.
In addition, IDSA makes scholarship money available each spring for students to continue their leadership training. IDSA cannot possibly serve all of the leadership training needs that today's students require, and these scholarships help students to fill that void.
