2008 Student Leadership Workshop

The Illinois Directors of Student Activities celebrated yet another successful Student Leadership Workshop on March 11. Leadership training was provided by The Leadership Academy, the IDSA's leadership partner. The workshop closed out with a rousing motivational speech by A'ric Jackson.
"I want to extend 'Congratulations' for an outstanding workshop on [March 11]. The students at Bloom Trail have never participated in such an event, and their experience at the workshop was well worth their time. They loved it. Some of them have never been on a college campus -- or even out of the Chicago Heights area -- so to these students, it was extremely beneficial. I can only imagine the hours put into preparing for the day, and I want you to know that it did not go unnoticed."
